Families of Virtue (FOV)
Families of Virtue (FOV) is a non-profit grass root organization that was established in 2009, and incorporated in April 2012. We are dedicated to nurturing and building family values through healthy eating, lifestyle, and education. We have been heavily based in Brampton's Knightsbridge/Kingscross Communities for the past 5years providing children in the area with free before and after school programming.
Our programs range from breakfast, homework help, and family nights where families from the neighbourhood can drop by and spend quality time with their children, in a safe environment and partake in activities such as games, movies, and crafts. Currently, FOV is staffed solely by volunteers and depends on donations, grants and fundraising to support our programs.
Our objective is to let each child know that they are important, loved, and capable of making a positive change in the community. Through our programming we hope each child to develop their full potential academically, physically and socially.
