Community Matters Mississauga is a replication of Community Matters Toronto, a successful neighbourhood based organization, providing services to the St. James Town community and surrounding neighbourhoods in downtown Toronto.
Responding to the expressed needs of Mississauga newcomers includingthose newly immigrated as well as Syrian and other refugees, Community Matters Toronto provides the organizational structure, training, resources and programs and services to assist it neighbours in achieving a most positive settlement and Canadian experience.
Presently operating entirely on a volunteer and in_kind basis this document is support for requests for start-up operating funds reflecting the demand from participants as the organization grows.
