Access 2 Accessibility
Access 2 accessibility is a central resources hub for all things related to accessibility/disability for people with disabilities and older adults.
We have two Divisions: Digital and Live. The Digital Division will provide many on-line/digital resources including: a mobile website to find local accessibility needs; a YouTube Channel to provide informational videos, webinars, interviews with people of interest in the accessibility field; Twitter chats; and more. The Live Division will provide live, local events for personal and professional needs including: information and training sessions for individuals and businesses; networking and resource meetings for people with disabilities; resource fairs and more.
Access 2 Accessibility's first program being delivered is https://www.meetup.com/Entrepreneurs-Professionals-with-Disabilities/ to provide people with disabilities who are entrepreneurs or career professionals a central resource and networking monthly event in various locations. This MeetUp provides empowerment, education and support to encourage people with disabilities to reach their professional goals.
Access 2 Accessibility advocates for people with disabilities (PwD) and helps to raise awareness about the Abilities and CapAbilities of PwD. We are a Federal Non-Profit based in Mississauga with long term goals to be offering our programs across Canada. We are an inclusive organization welcoming people of all Abilities.
