Learning Disabilities Association of Peel Region
With 1 in 10 Canadian children living with a learning disability and very limited school funding, the need to access support for individuals with learning disabilities is now more pressing than ever. Without those supports, children with learning disabilities have a greater risk of social issues, mental health concerns, and a lower rate of educational success.
Established in 1994, the Learning Disabilities Association of Peel (LDAPR) supports the needs of individuals who are impacted by a Learning Disability (LD). Through comprehensive programs and resources, we can empower those living with learning disabilities to achieve their educational and personal goals.
Working together with our community partners and funders, we provide approximately 50% subsidized funding to our families who face financial barriers to extra LD support.
