Position Address:
Canada Distribution Centre: 6420 Kestrel Road, Mississauga, Ontario
Location:
Mississauga, Brampton

Goal

Habitat for Humanity Canada (HFHC) is a Canada-wide charitable organization whose mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners to build affordable housing and promote homeownership as a mean to break the cycle of poverty, particularly for families. HFHC has a national mandate to raise funds to finance construction projects and promote public awareness in support of the work of 50 affiliate 'Habitats' throughout Canada.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Volunteer Material Processor(s) to join our team at the National Distribution Centre in Mississauga (see map below!). This is the hub where we receive donations of building materials, home goods, clothing, and small appliances. We sort, price, test, fix, and pack these items before sending them out to ReStore outlets, where they’re sold to help fund Habitat projects across the country.

If you love being hands-on, enjoy organizing, and don’t mind a little treasure hunting while you work, this is a great fit! You’ll get experience in warehousing, pricing, logistics, and repair skills—all while helping Habitat for Humanity build homes and hope for families in need.

Come join our team, roll up your sleeves, and make a meaningful impact in your community!
