Do you have an inspiring workshop that has been delivered to young girls and you want to share it with more? We are seeking volunteer mentors to facilitate one, 60 - 90 minute workshop that they have experience and knowledge in delivering. EmpowHER is a weekly series of workshops for girls ages 10 to 13 that motivates and inspires them while celebrating their differenes. By using creative activities and professional facilitators we will successfully address the following subjects; bullying, depression, peer pressure, substace abuse, body image, self esteem, friendships, mental health and cyber addiction. We hope to build resilence and inspire confidence as these young women self-reflect and communicate effectively through each series of workshops.

Volunteers should have an outline for a preplanned workshop that is a min 60 minutes to a max of 90 minutes. Volunteers should have experience facilitating workshops and strong communication skills. Volunteers should be knowledable and enjoy mentoring girls.

All facilitators will recieve a program outline and will meet with the project coordinator to discuss workshop facilitation and timeline
