You will join our Communications Team. Note that we meet virtually and/or in person as needed, and may vary in frequency depending on the season. Busiest gardening times: Spring - Summer. Busiest Education & Outreach times: Fall - Spring.As an active communications team member, you may choose your own level of participation in the areas you wish, according to your ability and available time.

Some options for your involvement:• Create effective communication strategies for BB (posters, workshops, presentations, display materials, etc)• Help with internal and external communications flow (newsletter content, website content, press releases, interviews, photography, videography)• Create social media posts and event announcements  • Build long-term relationships with influencers and key stakeholders• Participate in our outreach initiatives 

• Previous experience in working with groups of people
• Experience in developing equity, diversity, inclusion & accessibility programming
• Outgoing communicator - excellent writing skills essential
• Good time-management skills
• Experience in social media content production
• A strong interest in native plants, pollinators, biodiversity and conservation
