Goal

Ornaments of Grace and Virtue Organization is seeking four dedicated and visionary individuals to join our Board of Trustees, including a Secretary, as we embark on an exciting new phase of growth and impact.

We seek individuals who are  Passionate about bridging the digital gender equity gap and empowering girls through education,  experienced leaders with expertise in the areas of Collaborative, strategic thinkers aligned with our values of grace, integrity and transformation.

 


Description

We Need Your Expertise: To strengthen our governance and help us advance our mission, we are seeking professionals with expertise in the following areas:

  •  Accountancy: Provide financial oversight, ensure transparency, and guide budgeting for sustainable growth.
  •  Digital Communication Skills: Enhance our outreach, visibility, and stakeholder engagement through innovative digital platforms.
  •  Secretary Role: Support board operations by managing documentation, preparing agendas and minutes, and ensuring compliance with governance practices.
  •  Other Relevant Fields: Governance, legal services, fundraising, or program development and other tasks.

Qualifications

Your Role & Impact: As a Trustee, you will:

  • Shape the strategic direction of the organization to maximize our impact on girls’ education.
  • Provide leadership, insight, and expertise to drive initiatives forward.
  • Support programs that bridge the digital gender equity gap and create transformative opportunities for girls to excel in today’s global economy.

The Secretary will serve as a key officer on the Board, with responsibilities including:

  • Managing board documentation and records.
  • Preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes.

 Commitment required:

Monthly meetings, strategic input, and active engagement in key priorities.

Time Commitment
This is a Long Term (More than 6 months) commitment
Shifts are available Anytime

FLEXIBLE: Members will meet MONTHLY as a Board, and you may expect to also attend committee meetings and other meetings including  fundraising projects. Critical to our success and to a Member's engagement is consistent attendance and adequate preparation for all activities undertaken. 

Term Duration: 3 years

 


Training

Orientation is provided to all incoming Members of the Board. As necessary, TRAINING will be provided for specific tasks/projects, and in reference to our general administration.

PLEASE NOTE:  The Board's meetings will be conducted REMOTELY, by means of virtual communication and conferencing.
