Goal

Join us for a momentous event as The Dam celebrates 30 years of serving Mississauga youth! The Dam is a youth drop-in and community organization that builds relationships and creates safe spaces for youth to thrive. Through mentorship, programs, and community engagement, The Dam supports young people in building resilience, developing leadership skills, and finding a sense of belonging. Description

  • Help make this a night to remember! Seeking volunteers as event support to help with set up, guest registration, meal service, and clean up. 
  • Receive volunteer hours and experience with charitable events. We hope you also feel a sense of giving back to the community. 
  • An interest or experience in chariyty work would be an asset. By sharing your time, you will free up staff time so they can enjoy the celebration.

Qualifications

  • Flexibility-an openess to serve wherever needed. 
  • Welcoming - good PR skills are an asset.
  • Some jobs require light lifting - moving tables and chairs.
