GoalWe are looking for energetic, compassionate, dedicated volunteers who are focused on helping us deliver our Mission, Vision and Values. At Osler, more than 1,200 volunteers help provide a welcoming, caring environment for everyone who enters our doors. These special people give of their time and expertise to support patients, visitors and staff at all Osler sites. We are currently seeking a volunteers to support the Gift Shops in our hospital. |

DescriptionThe Gift Shop is operated by the Volunteer Association to raise funds for the hospital. Volunteers raise funds through sales that purchase vital hospital equipment. Volunteers on this service are expected to display superior interpersonal skills and marketing talents to provide excellent customer service. Duties include:

Time CommitmentThis is a Long Term (More than 6 months) commitment
Shifts are available Anytime There is a 60-hour minimum requirement for all volunteers (this takes about six to eight months to complete if you are volunteering once a week for two to four hours). A typical volunteer opportunity is based on a fixed schedule, once per week (e.g. every Tuesday 10am-2pm). Shifts vary from 2-4 hours per week. |

TrainingOur trainings and orientations at Osler covers the following:
In depth training, placement tasks and rules are provided for all volunteers, specific to their role. Trainings will be conducted by staff and experienced volunteers. |
