Welcome Team volunteers at Toronto Pearson airport, love to greet people, be that friendly smiling face in the crowd and help people find their way in a dynamic setting.  You are an ambassador to Toronto and to all of Canada for passengers from all around the world!  

Welcome Team volunteers help passengers feel welcomed, relaxed and delighted by:

• Greeting passengers throughout the terminals
• Providing general directions to washrooms, restaurants, gates, airport services and more
• Responding to basic passenger inquiries with thoughtful, enthusiastic and accurate answers
• Enhancing the overall passenger experience at Pearson

You are only required to register for and attend one information session.  The same information will be presented at both sessions.

Please note: the information sessions are virtual.  All volunteering at Toronto Pearson airport is in person.  

• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.  Other languages are a plus.  
• Must be able to legally work in Canada and reside in the Greater Toronto area.  
• Must be able to be mobile throughout the terminals for a minimum of two hours at a time. 
• Must be able to contribute eight hours per month.  Minimum commitment of one year.
• Police check required for all volunteers who are at least 18 years old.
• Volunteers whose applications are selected for further consideration will be required to attend an in-person interview.  

All interested candidates are required to attend an online information session in September to find out more about how to apply.  Applicants must provide a resume and submit an application (link provided during the information session).
