Goal

Care Masters Women and Family Services is a charitable organization located in Mississauga. Our goal is to empower Black Women to heal and prosper through innovative mental wellness programming. We aim to deliver programming that encourages our sisters to be the masters of their self care and healing journey.


Description

 Empowerment Awaits – Seeking Visionary Board Members! 

Do you have a heart for advocacy and a desire to uplift the mental and emotional well-being of Black women and ACB families? If this resonates with you, we need your leadership on our board! At Care Masters Women and Family Services, our commitment goes beyond supporting communities—we empower Black women, children, and youth to achieve their fullest potential and advocate for their own wellness and success.

Commitment:

 

  •  Participate in 6-8 dynamic board meetings per year (virtual evenings).
  • Engage in at least one committee, contributing to special projects, fundraising efforts and initiatives.
  •  Attend and represent us at key community events to boost our mission’s visibility.

Term:A renewable two-year commitment, investing 20-30 hours annually of transformative work.

Qualifications

We Are Looking For:

  • Visionaries with a background in mental health, social work, business, public health, or non-profit leadership.
  • Innovators in education, business development, or entrepreneurship who can bring fresh perspectives to our strategic discussions.
  • Philanthropists and fundraisers who are adept at nurturing donor relationships and expanding financial support for vital programs.
  • Marketing experts and social media communicators who can tell our story in ways that resonate and inspire action.

Time Commitment
This is a Long Term (More than 6 months) commitment
Shifts are available on the following days
 - Wednesday Evening, Thursday Evening

Training

Orientation and training will be provided.
