Goal

Walk Committee members are a group of volunteers who support Cystic Fibrosis Canada by promoting the event to a wide audience of donors and anyone who may be interested in supporting the efforts to drive life-changing advancements in cystic fibrosis. The committee works both independently and collaboratively to ensure a successful, fun, and safe event.


Description

ROLESCommittee roles are flexible, tailored to the event's size and needs, and aligned with members' strengths and interests. You can focus on one or more areas based on event requirements and personal preferences.Committee role areas of focus include:•Recruitment & Registration•Finance•Volunteer Coordination•Marketing & Promotions•Fundraising & Sponsorship•Day of Animation

Qualifications

IDEAL QUALITIES
•Project Management experience
•Comfortable in a leadership role
•Detail orientation
•Excellent communication skills in English 
•Experience with event planningand/or fundraising events an asset

Time Commitment
This is a Special Event commitment starting 2026-01-12 AND ending 2026-05-31
Shifts are available Anytime

Committee meetings are virtual. Must be available to be on-site at the Walk on Sunday, May 31st all day.
