Our Board's mission is focused on governance and policy development. In keeping with this mission, CMOW currently seeks applicants, resident or working in the Caledon/Orangeville area, who have knowledge, skill (and ideally experience) in one or more of the following areas:

  • Financial Management
  • Legal
  • Fundraising
  • Policy Development
  • Governance
  • Health/ Social Service Administration
  • Human Resources
  • Community Outreach/ Communications

Caledon Meals on Wheels is particularly seeking individuals who represent under-serviced populations, reflect the diversity of the community, and individuals who have played leadership roles in local community groups, businesses, or organizations.   PLEASE NOTE that this volunteer opportunity is subject to a satisfactory Police Check.

Term on the Board: MINIMUM of 1 year 

SCREENING of applicants will be by stages (likely virtual - tel/email/online interviewing, unless otherwise advised), after CMOW has received your application and resume. See DESCRIPTION (above).

Time Commitment
This is a Long Term (More than 6 months) commitment starting 2024-04-26
Shifts are available Anytime

OVERALL ENGAGEMENT: 1 year term on the Board
The Board meets for 2 hours on the first Wednesday of every month.  Members are also asked to volunteer 3 to 5 hours per month on various committees. Members attend events and act as ambassadors of our organization.


ORIENTATION to CMOW, provided by our Executive Director and current Board Members.
