DescriptionAs a Theatre Volunteer, there are 2 primary purposes for your role:1. Provide beyond excellent customer service to patrons, staff and other volunteers; and2. Provide guidance to patrons in an emergency situation.You are responsible for:• Greeting patrons as they enter a theatre• Scanning or ripping their tickets and ensure they know where they are going• Providing direction to their seats• answering any questions patron may have |

QualificationsTo become a Theatre Volunteer with the City of Brampton, you are required to complete an on-line application. Theatre events will require you to have the following requirements:- 16 years of age and older- enthusiasm, able to work as a team, great attitude- You are required to attend a City of Brampton orientation.- Police Clearance Certificate (some events will also require vulnerable sector screening depending on the position)- Shadow training - you will be required to participate in Shadow training (6 shows) before becoming a full-fledged ushe Police Check: Required Resume:Not required Driver's Licence: Not required Proof of Vaccination: Not required |

Time CommitmentThis is a Long Term (More than 6 months) commitment
Shifts are available Anytime There are varied shifts as a Theatre Program Volunteer and you can sign up for any of the shifts according to the opportunities you see on the scheduled in your "MyVolunteerPage". |

TrainingAll volunteers with the City of Brampton must attend a City of Brampton orientation prior to volunteering with the City. One orientation will cover any department with the City. |
