Goal- 3 Volunteers to provide light food & beverages to the public in a friendly setting- Focus mainly is on seniors at the Centre- Add food service within a social setting that enhances seniors' health and wellbeing- Afford volunteers opportunities to gain experience in food service and with seniorsThe Active Adult Centre of Mississauga's aim is to enrich the lives of seniors living in Peel by keeping them active, independent, and involved in the community. The Centre keeps seniors age 50+ engaged by offering a colourful range of over 80 weekly social, recreational, health. educational, and multicultural programs, of which our Sunrise Cafe is a popular social meeting place. |

Description- 3 Volunteers to assist ONE DAY PER WEEK from 8:45 AM to 1:30 PM- Volunteers will assist in making tea/coffee, sandwiches/vegetable trays- Volunteers also will assist in serving these beverages and food to the public, especially our seniors- 'position' requires a minimum 1 year commitment- prior experience working or volunteering in an outreach kitchen is required |

Qualifications- Prior experience working or volunteering in a outreach kitchen is required- Superior, engaging, friendly customer service, especially with seniors- Understanding of seniors and their special needs- Minimum 1 year commitment to the 'position'- Reliability and punctuality Police Check: Not required Resume:Not required Driver's Licence: Not required Proof of Vaccination: Not required |

Shifts are available Anytime ONE DAY PER WEEK, from 8:45 AM to 1:30 PM |
