535 Main St N

Goal

The Salvation Army Family Life Resource Centre (FLRC) is an emergency short term shelter in the Brampton area for women and their children escaping partner violence. The FLRC offers moms and their children support with all the concerns they bring with them into our Centre, with the promise to keep everything they tell staff and volunteers strictly confidential. Chirstmas Helpers and Drivers are a vital part of the FLRC team. Volunteer will assist with accepting donations at the building and assist with the sorting and storing the gift donations, along with donation pick-ups and drop-offs. The donation drop-offs are related to our "Adopt-a-family Program" which we run every year at Christmas to make sure as many families as we can help, get a Christmas.  So the drop-offs are generally, dropping of gifts to families.
