Safe City Mississauga is a registered charitable organization founded in 1992 to help reduce criminal opportunity and criminal victimization in Mississauga. We provide resources, staff, professional community leadership and guidance for crime prevention programs and activities. We also encourage crime prevention education within the public, private and voluntary sectors, plus research, develop and implement new community crime prevention programs and activities.We are in immediate need of volunteers for the role of 'Safe City Ambassador'. This 'position' is pivotal in planning and implementation of our events, as well as representing us at third-party events.

Must be willing to commit to a MINIMUM of 4 events per year. Upcoming events will be scheduled and take place when relief from the COVID-19 Emergency occurs.FLEXIBLE, based on the volunteer's availability, although event dates largely dictate periods during which a 'Safe City Ambassador' will volunteer.
