Looking for a volunteer position and a work out all in one? We are looking for volunteers to help move, clean, organize, and inventory furniture items as they come and go from our warehouse. The position requires a certain amount of physical fitness as furniture can be challenging to handle. We offer a fun and inclusive environment as we try to change the lives of our clients one sofa at a time!'My Furniture Bank' recycles new and gently used home furnishings from individual and corporate donors and distribute them to:- those transitioning from homelessness- refugees- youth living on their own- families living below the poverty line- victims of domestic violence- the elderly- those with disabilities- those who have lost all to fire, a natural disaster or personal tragedyOur clients have been referred to us by registered community shelters, faith-based organizations, and social agencies.
