Goal

The Community Foundation of Mississauga (CFofM) brings donors to the table as community builders in Mississauga, helping them formulate and realize their philanthropic goals, matching their interests and concerns with local community needs and organizations, plus finding innovative and responsible ways to give their investments lasting impact. We take the broadest view of what a community is and what it needs to succeed. This is why our grants support everything from shelter, sustenance and care for those most in need, to recreation, the arts, and the environment. Our 14th annual 'Fore' Mississauga Golf Tournament' (Tuesday, AUGUST 25, 2020, at the GLENCAIRN Golf Club, Milton) showcases CFofM and our impact within Mississauga and beyond, and is critical to raising our charitable, engaged profile, in the community. Participants meet other like minded executives and network. The game of golf inspires making powerful personal connections, notably in business. Whether participants have mastered the game or not, they can use an engaging. enjoyable round of golf to conduct a business meeting, discuss sales targets or help build relationships to achieve goals. We invite individuals and local businesses to make a connection and experience the reward that comes from knowing every putt, every drive, and every dollar raised, goes directly to supporting our community, ensuring quality of life for everyone. It's very important for the Foundation to attract committed, capable volunteers to assist us in making the 'Fore' Mississauga Golf Tournament a 'go to' regular golfing event. You can be an invaluable driving force for this event by actively participating in various facets of the outreach, from procurement of sponsorship, ticket and table sales, coordination of marketing efforts or print materials, administrative tasks, and event day set up, using your passion for volunteering, charity fundraising, event planning leadership and experience in Mississauga.
