'Peel Senior Link' needs YOU! - Bring a family member or friend to volunteer with you to fundraise for this special event: September 1 to 19, called 'The Grand Parade'- We need your help to publicly honour and support aging friends and family- We're asking you to spend a few hours a week with our donation signage in select locations (eg. shopping malls) where you will raise funds and awareness for our MAJOR CHARITY FUNDRAISER.- By sharing your time, you will help support our work with seniors throughout Peel regionTIME SENSITIVE VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITY! ● Great people skills, approachable, and friendly● Organized, punctual, reliable (able to adhere faithfully to engagement schedule)● Ability to stand for extended periods● Ready to canvass collaboratively in partnership with another volunteer (who could be a family member or friend!)● Enthusiasm for spreading the word and rallying support● Previous experience in fundraising (canvassing the public) is an asset but is not required!
