With the public's generosity, in 2019 in Canada: - The Salvation Army provided 5,500 shelter, addictions, detox, and mental health beds for vulnerable men, women, and families in Canada - The Salvation Army served 3.3 million free meals - The Salvation Army assisted 1,320,000 persons with food, clothing or practical assistance We have a SIGNIFICANT PRESENCE and ROLE in Mississauga and Brampton, and our impact would not be what it is, 24/7, without VOLUNTEERS. Our 'Volunteer Drivers' make a key contribution by picking up donations from corporate donors and from the community, for the shelters in Mississauga and Brampton.

FLEXIBLE: Ongoing, as donations arise and p/up are scheduled, and as long as you continue to enjoy helping. Volunteers will 'check in' with staff supervisors regularly and should regard themselves as 'on call'.
