Position Description |
● The Program focuses on students' self-esteem, goal-setting, effective communication, positive conflict resolution (including peer pressure issues and bullying), and overall stress management ● 12 week program ● ONE DAY per week (typically after school, Mon thru Thurs, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM), Feb & March, 2019 ● Applicants for the role may state the school that they prefer (every attempt will be made to accommodate you) The 'Volunteer Mentor' facilitates: - a group of 10 students - their engagement interactively, designed for education and fun: games, activities, skits, role-playing, presentations, team-building/awareness exercises through pairing up, etc., social awareness (incl. special emphasis on wise choices/peer pressure and bullying response) - preparation of a student for the challenges in secondary school PLEASE APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE (Program will begin February, 2019) TO APPLY, click the 'Apply Now!'
