Position Description Are you interested in food and urban agriculture? Would you like to help develop our new food PODCAST, grow food for local food banks, cook meals with others, or increase awareness of local food in our community?

'Young Urban Growers' is a food group for youth (ages 15-25) in Peel. Each month, we will meet to learn about and discuss local food and urban agriculture topics. Credit towards '40 hours' available for secondary school students.

If you are over 25 years old, consider joining us as a FOOD MENTOR.

Training Details All Young Urban Growers will receive mentorship and training throughout the year. Our NEXT MEETING will take place on August 8, 2019, where we will learn about food waste and vermicomposting. You are welcome to join Young Urban Growers at any point in the year.
