● Volunteers are will use their own vehicles to pick up and/or drop off palliative individuals to programs, and for personal appointments, shopping, etc. ● Flexible hours, with Wednesday being a frequent weekly attendance, so that the palliative individual can attend a program at the Hospice ***** Volunteers are reimbursed for their gas mileage. | Training Details | Drivers are required to complete a 30 hour palliative care hospice training course. This course is very helpful for all, to learn about how to properly care for people who are at end-of-life. |
