Position Description |
YOUTH CORPS volunteers will: - Arrive on time at a designated location - Attend an orientation and training session (to learn what you'll be doing, plus how to do it) - Wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, and sun/rain protection (this event will take place rain or shine) - Comply with all health and safety instructions provided and maintain a safety focus during all tasks - Use hand tools and equipment safely, including shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows - complete other tasks as requested and assigned - BRING 'school forms' to have hours recorded and forms signed *** Registration is required for youth ages 14-17 participating without parent/guardian supervision (Create a 'volunteer profile' with Volunteer MBC, so that you'll be able to 'click' the yellow box 'Apply!', below, to immediately access the event online registration form). PLEASE APPLY IMMEDIATELY (Event date is LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AWAY!) |
Training Details | Orientation and training session will be at 10am sharp! Please arrive on time, factoring in travel time to the Park (see 'Map', below). |
