● Well in advance of the Gala date, bring together a team of volunteers to organize and conduct a 'silent auction' and a 'live auction' ● With the Gala committee, establish agreed upon auction procedures ● In cooperation with staff and volunteers who canvass for, and collect, donated items, make a running inventory, with appropriate 'posters', 'pricing', and other features that identify/promote the items ● Assign 'lot numbers' and print 'bidding sheets' ● Train the team on auction procedures that will be used during the Gala ● Assist in establishing methods of payment for auctioned items ● With the Gala committee, appoint an auctioneer for the 'live auction' ● Account for auction proceeds, remit, and deliver a written report (that includes an evaluation of results/performance/success) PLEASE APPLY WITHOUT DELAY - Gala Date: November 1, 2019 |

Gala committee and volunteer teams will meet monthly initially, keep updated online, and weekly (or more frequently), as the Gala date nears. In this role, attendance at the Gala is a mandatory requirement, as well. |
