You can be expected to engage in one or more of the following ongoing tasks: - Assist cook as directed - Help to prepare meals - Clean-up/dish washing PLEASE NOTE: During COVID-19, we have changed to serving TAKE-OUT MEALS ONLY at our door. Volunteers may be serving clients at the door, behind a table. Clients are required to wear masks for service. The Knights Table during the COVID-19 Emergency is totally committed to the HEALTH & SAFETY of all who work, volunteer, and use our facility/outreach.   • Passion for helping others by volunteering

  • Commitment to learn about the Knights Table and its food bank operations

  • Ready and able to volunteer for AT LEAST 3 MONTHS, preferably longer

  • Prepared to adhere to an agreed weekly schedule

  • Prior 'customer service' and/or 'food service' experience is welcome (food handling 'certification' welcome, too, but not required)

  • Respect for health and safety procedures, especially food handling PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers will be required to fill out an APPLICATION prior to scheduling an interview (see 'Description', above)
