About the Position
Healing Cycle Foundation, The 7070 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, ON, Canada (Roche Canada Grounds) Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon
Adult & Student Volunteers are needed to support this annual event (SUNDAY, September 15, 2019) in the following roles:

- Set up & dismantle event space
- Standing marshals for registration and answering questions
- Start & finish line volunteers to cheer on Riders
- Rest stop volunteer to supply refreshments and encouragement
- Food Service

+ Student volunteers will be provided with a Community Hours Certificate that may be credited towards their '40 hours' graduation requirement
● Minimum age - 16
● Previous event experience not required, although welcome
● Friendly, engaging, supportive towards participants, co-volunteers, event staff, and the public
● Volunteers in certain roles may be required to stand for extended periods
● Dress appropriately for the event (HAT, sunscreen, rain gear (if unfavourable weather forecast), etc.)
● Ability to volunteer as part of a team and independently (follow directions)
● Punctual for orientation/training and the event (role requirements are not complicated)
All volunteers will receive comprehensive orientation, plus detailed instructions for their volunteer roles.
