● Engage in various forms of 'customer service' ● Set up / Clean up the event ● Assisting in BBQ's ● Handling cash box ● Promotion of the fundraiser on site (provide public info and promo that encourages donations) PLEASE APPLY ASAP (Event runs weekly on Thursday's all summer - see below) |

> Assist in a fundraiser that helps children be prepared for school (money raised will buy needed school supplies) > Opportunity to volunteer with like-minded volunteers and 'network' in your community > Opportunity to learn about the service club movement (KIWANIS) > Community hours will be confirmed in writing (incl. secondary school '40 hours' requirement) > Letter of volunteer service > Future referrals for similar events |

● Customer service skills an asset ● Prior experience in an event helpful (but not necessary) ● Familiarity with BBQing/food service an asset ● Friendly, engaging with members of the public ● Ability to volunteer with a team ● Punctuality, plus appropriate attire |
