Car Crew teams are responsible for driving patrons home each night during the Holiday Season (late November through December) Caledon. These teams are generally comprised of 3 volunteers: Driver, Navigator, and Escort. See 'Time Commitment', below. You have the option of using your own vehicle OR operating one of our sponsored vehicles. We operate during varied weather conditions, so you should be comfortable in adverse weather conditions. Ideal skills for this role would include: - Customer Service - Courtesy, patience, understanding, plus good interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a team environment - Strong driving aptitude during various times of day & in varied weather conditions - Ability to operate a 'standard' transmission - Understanding of Android smartphones & smartphone applications - Most of all, keeping a healthy perspective about this valuable role (looking to help in immediate and preventative ways) THIS OPPORTUNITY IS TIME SENSITIVE (Our Holiday Season program of assistance begins November 22nd).
