Position Description: HomeJames operates a state-of-the-art dispatch centre, a facility which is unique to Designated Driver services.

We utilize a specially designed software for call taking & trip booking, GPS tracking for all designated driver teams, plus tracking of donations and creation of various reports.

Our 'Dispatcher' will use the technology(telephone/computer systems) in our facility to co-ordinate Car Crews who are on duty, available to assist those who are unable (or decline) to operate their vehicles due to impairment.

Goal of Position: 'HomeJames' is a community program dedicated to saving lives by providing a free designated driver service for drivers who are not able to operate their own vehicles due to impairment by alcohol or drug.

Our services are made possible by dedicated, responsible volunteers who selflessly contribute their time to keep our roads safe, our residents protected.

Training Details: Training will be provided prior to the start of the role.
Position Qualifications: ● Strong oral/written English communication skills
● Knowledge of computers, comfortable in a computerized environment
● Ability to use a multi-line phone system (excellent telephone manner)
● Ability to multi-task
● Quick learner
● Ability to work in a team environment, plus be independent
● Punctual, reliable
● Most of all, ability to have fun
Time Commitment: Friday Evening, Saturday Evening
Duration: Short Term (3 months or less)
Time Detail: Friday & Saturday Evenings: 7pm to 2am (plus New Year's Eve - Monday, Dec 31)

End Date: 2019-01-01
