About the Position
Bethell Hospice 15835 McLaughlin Road, Inglewood, Ontario Caledon

Board of Director Responsibilities includes:




  • Prepare for and attend monthly Board meetings

  • Lead the Finance Committee of the Board as the Treasurer and participate on the Executive committee.

  • Participate in an annual, full day strategic session;

  • Participate in implementation of the strategic direction for the organization;

  • Monitor the organization’s performance to achieve the vision and mission of Bethell Hospice;

  • Assess financial viability and sustainability of the organization and participate in the approval of the budget;

  • Prepare/review necessary policy and by-law amendments;

  • Collaborate with Bethell Hospice Foundation’s Board to assist in raising funds for the organization; and

  • Actively contribute to the functioning of the Board;


  • Demonstrate your leadership skills/experience as a valuable board member

Time Commitment: 12 – 15 hours per month
