The Gardens Committee provides advice to The Riverwood Conservancy (TRC) and the City of Mississauga in relation to the design, development, and maintenance of the gardens within Riverwood. Committee Responsibilities: - Review and approve proposals and plans for gardens at Riverwood - Provide advice to the City and TRC on the development of gardens in accordance with the Master Plan - Discuss garden plans for specific garden areas - Provide direction to volunteer Garden Leaders and Gardeners - Liaise with appropriate TRC staff - Provide a yearly summary for inclusion in the TRC Annual Report. |

● Knowledge and experience in gardening and/or gardens design ● Flexibility and creativity ● Attention to details ● Strong interest in The Riverwood Conservancy ● Willingness to work as a team member ● Excellent communication skills ● bility to attend committee meetings, plus take minutes once a year. |

| Volunteers will be required to complete TRC's Orientation. | |
