â— Membership on the Board of Directors, plus committee work â— Engagement in the overall governance of the not-for-profit â— Collaboration in Abbeyfield's ongoing strategic plan â— Monitoring/approval of budgets â— Oversight, to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements for a not-for-profit â— Focused contribution of skill/experience in one or more of the following areas: - Nursing/medical - Legal - Fundraising (grant writing/donor engagement) - Health and wellness/social lifestyle promotion for seniors - 'Social media' management/development (eg. website, Instagram, Facebook) |
