Position Description: ● Sign up for a 2 hour (minimum) daffodil pin selling shift at a local retailer in your community
● Offer the signature daffodil pin to customers coming and going from the store
● Volunteers wear branded Canadian Cancer Society identification and stand in front of the store location

Goal of Position: In 1956, the Canadian Cancer Society began using the DAFFODIL, its symbol of hope in the fight against cancer, in an annual fundraising campaign that now is well known to Canadians across the nation, and readily associated with the month of April.

Volunteers like you are key to the success of the Daffodil Campaign. Without your support, we couldn't raise much-needed funds for ground-breaking research, support services, and other important work, so that fewer Canadians are affected by cancer.

We want you to join us in making the Campaign for 2019 an unqualified success!

● Ability to collect/account for donations per Society directions
● Dress appropriate for the role
Time Commitment: Thursday Morning, Thursday Afternoon, Thursday Evening, Friday Morning, Friday Afternoon, Friday Evening, Saturday Morning, Saturday Afternoon, Saturday Evening, Sunday Morning, Sunday Afternoon, Sunday Evening
Duration: Short Term (3 months or less)
Time Detail: Various 2 hour shifts available Thursdays - Sundays
