About the Position
Creative Hub 1352 (formerly Small Arms Society) Small Arms Inspection Building,1352 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, ON, Canada Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon
For this one-day EVENT, volunteers may expect to fill one or more of the following roles:

- Greeter
- Facility/event/exhibit guide
- Parking attendant
- General 'customer service' (promoting the SAS and its purpose/mission)
- Other roles as may arise

> Secondary school students have the opportunity to earn hours towards their '40 hours' community service graduation requirement
> 'Network' with like-minded volunteers and members of the public
> Satisfaction that your volunteering efforts have contributed to the success of 'Back to the '40s'!
● Minimum age - 16
● This is a 6-hour event (standing for extended periods may be required)
● Willing to learn about the Small Arms Society and the heritage that it preserves
● Commitment to attend/complete the orientation/training session for the event
● Solid oral English communication skills
● Willingness to be friendly/engaging with members of the public
● Commitment to volunteer as part of a team, plus independently
● Punctuality for training and the event (May 25) is a MUST
A run-through of the event beforehand will be conducted for 'event volunteers' (date to be scheduled in the near future).
