About the Position
Credit Valley Conservation Pick ups at local high schools in the Credit River Watershed Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon
> What you will do:
During the week you will participate in different activities such as stream restoration, tree planting, removing invasive species, and trail maintenance, to name a few.

>> Location:
Pick up locations are at local high schools. When filling out the application, choose the closest high schools. CVC staff will pick you and the other volunteers up at a chosen school at 8:00 a.m. At the end of the day, you will be dropped off at the same meeting spot at 3:00 p.m.

● Minimum age - 14 (maximum age - 18)
● Applicants must have completed 1 year of secondary school as of June, 2019, or are planning to return to secondary school in September
● Commitment of ONE FULL WEEK of the 9 week program (see 'Time Detail', below)
● There are no skills required! Just a positive attitude and a desire to help the environment! We will train you how to do the job, plus how to do it safely
● Energy, enthusiasm, ready to learn in a genuine 'team environment'
The first day of each week in the program is spent doing orientation which includes some training. Training will be provided for all tasks.
