Southside Shuffle Blues and Jazz Festival (The) Port Credit Memorial Park, Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, ON, Canada Mississauga, Brampton
Typical of an outdoor rain or shine festival, you have opportunities for various volunteering roles:

- Merchandise Sales Person
- Kids Art Workshop
- Street Shuffle Parade Saturday afternoon at 4pm
- Reefer Truck
- Stage Support
- Volunteer Floater Festival Support
- Volunteer Welcome Centre Tent (Sign In/Out)
- Arena Entertainers Support
- Seller / Arena Entrance
- Legion Jam 2019 9 pm - 2:30 am
- The Green Team
- Alcohol Ticket Seller & Cashier (MUST have 'Smartserve')
- Survey Festival Patrons throughout Festival Area
- Logistics Setup Crew Before Event
- Loading Backline Equipment
- Logistics Crew During Event
- Take Down Crew After Event

Shift times vary. See individual position for shift times available. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up for multiple assignments.

> After the event the Board of Directors hosts a volunteer appreciation party and provides all the food and beverage tickets. Live band performing.
> Students can earn volunteer hours towards their '40 hours' community service graduation requirement
● Must be at least 15 years old
● Enthusiastic, energetic, with a commitment to ensure that the public enjoys themselves at the Southside Shuffle Blues Festival
● For most roles, solid oral English communication skills
● Appropriate dress for the event (and the weather)
● Physically fit for the 'Setup' and 'Breakdown' roles prior to and the day after the event.
Volunteer orientation to be held at the Port Credit Legion on Tuesday August 27th. Training provided at orientation meeting & on the day of assignment
