About the Position
ITechSkills Academy Organization 6981 Millcreek Drive - 2nd floor - Unit 30 Mississauga, Virtual
[ PLEASE NOTE: Interested, eligible volunteers are invited to APPLY DURING the COVID-19 Emergency, and the Academy will be reviewing and screening all applications that are received. ]

A. Proctoring tests and exams in the test centre (through a surveillance camera)
B. Administrative tasks:
- Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required
- Dealing with email inquiries
- Managing courses plans and registrations
- Data entry (sales figures, property listings, etc.)
- General office management, such as ordering stationery and other supplies
- Maintaining the organization's 'social media'

● Proven oral/written English communication skills (fluency in additional language(s) is welcome)
● Capable of multi-tasking in this multi-faceted volunteering 'role'
● 'Customer Service' experience would be helpful
● High degree of organization, accompanied by attention to detail
● Prior 'office admin' experience is an asset
● Research capability
● Working knowledge of 'social media' platforms

*** PLEASE NOTE: Screening of volunteer applicants during COVID-19 will be 'virtual' (telephone/email/online interviews).
There will be a comprehensive training during the first week (possibly 'online', in view of the COVID-19 Emergency) to go through all of the Exam Vendors and how to administer the candidates until they gain entitlement to course certificates.

During the 'application process', we will collaborate with successful candidates to determine appropriate 'meeting protocols' for training and other engagement, in view of latest COVID-19 Emergency guidelines.
