About the Position
Ecosource Iceland Teaching Garden (behind the Arena) 705 Matheson Boulevard East, Mississauga, ON, Canada Mississauga

No gardening experience necessary. You will take part in a variety of gardening tasks that reflect the annual growth cycle: weeding, preparing beds for planting, planting seeds, transplanting, and harvesting.

Growing For Our Good (May through October) seeks to empower youth to provide skills along the whole journey of food - from planting, to harvesting, to how to eat the veggies! We'll also be looking at ways that we can share this info with the community through social media and other youth action.

All levels of experience/interest are welcome to join. There will be something for everyone, and you are welcome to join us as a volunteer gardener at any point in the season.

To register for sessions visit ecosource.ca/volunteer - registration is on a rolling basis and each session opens up for signup two weeks prior to the date.
