About the Position
Caledon Meals on Wheels Variety of locations across Caledon and Orangeville Caledon

Position Summary:




  • Maintain client privacy and confidentiality as per CMOW’s policies and signed agreement

  • Maintain CMOW’s Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, and Conflict of Interest standards as per CMOW policies and signed agreement

  • Assist the Program Coordinator in running program activities and food preparation

  • Treat client with respect and sincerity

  • Notify the Program Coordinator regarding planned absences



Sample Activities:



Serving snacks/lunch to clients, cleaning up after luncheons, set up for guest speakers, helping with crafts, taking attendance, helping facilitate card games or bingo.

With the support of Volunteers the SSW team is able to facilitate senior programs across Caledon and Orangeville to help participants connect & engage within their community with fun activities, supporting a healthy and active lifestyle, minimizing isolation.

All volunteers (with the exception of Casual Volunteers) are required to complete our screening process, which includes a Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector, driver’s abstract (where appropriate), and two references.
