Toronto Pearson airport volunteers love to greet people, be that friendly smiling face in the crowd and help people find their way in a dynamic setting.

Welcome Team Junior Ambassador volunteers help passengers at Toronto Pearson airport feel welcomed, relaxed and delighted by:

• Greeting passengers throughout the terminals


• Providing general directions to washrooms, restaurants, gates, airport services and more


• Responding to basic passenger inquiries with thoughtful, enthusiastic and accurate answers


• Enhancing the overall passenger experience at Pearson


• It is a meaningful way for secondary school students (minimum age 14) to fulfill their community service hours while having a meaningful and stimulating volunteering experience

Info Session #1: Wednesday, May 8th, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Info Session #2: Saturday, May 11th, 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM

To be eligible to apply, you need to be:

At least 14 years old

Able to commit to 40 volunteer hours and complete your 40 hours within 5 months

You also need to register for and attend one of our upcoming online information sessions on the following dates/times: 

Wednesday, May 8th, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Saturday, May 11th, 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM

Candidates who are successful in their applications must be available for in-person trainings in June at Toronto Pearson airport.
