● Provide one-on-one instruction on basic computer skills ● Plan with program 'team lead' material to be covered (eg. basic PC/Mac (and/or other devices) operation, setting up email accounts, retrieving/sending information over the Internet, etc.) ● Deliver information about (incl. the importance of) safety and security on the Web, plus promote safe practices PLEASE ACCESS the CCS 'VOLUNTEER APPLICATION FORM' by 'clicking on' the yellow box 'Apply Now!', below. |

● Intermediate to advanced computer skills (able to navigate comfortably, and explain, WINDOWS, Mac, Android, Facebook, Twitter, and other software/platforms/applications) ● Solid oral/written communication skills ● Prepared to accommodate new learners ● Ability to present with clear instructions that a layperson will understand ● Sensitivity to different levels of comfort/awareness among the participants in the program **** Due to close involvement with seniors in this program, a satisfactory 'Police Vulnerable Sector Check' is necessary |
