Ornaments of Grace and Virtue (OGVA) is a Canadian Charitable community service organization. We are an organization that is passionate about nurturing, mentoring, and empowering girls to become and remain independent, responsible, and productive young women in society. Through nurturing and mentoring, a girl can become independent, responsible, and a leader who positively influences society. OGAV was founded and registered with the Canadian government in 2014 as an international organization with the mission to advance girls’ education to bridge the digital gender equity gap in education. To create inclusion and opportunity for girls, and equip them with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to thrive in the 21st-century global economy.

At this time, OGAV is actively recruiting volunteers who have a passion for creating fun, engaging, and memorable short-form video content for the TikTok social media platform. Currently, OGAV has a virtual presence on most major social media platforms. However, we now require a TikTok content creator who would be willing to create media content (that aligns with OGAV’s mission and vision) in collaboration with our social media team to improve our community connection and presence. The role requires collaboration with the social media team on posting schedules, initiatives, etc.

Applicants must have experience with TikTok. 

Currently, this role is virtual, so applicants should be skilled in time management, able to work remotely with available technologies and reliable internet, and have a high degree of initiative, collaboration, and communication. 
Description

  • Come up with unique, on-brand content ideas that will deeply resonate with Tik Tok users and promote high levels of engagement.
  • Film, edit, and publish new Tik Tok videos on a consistent and frequent schedule agreed upon collectively in agreement with other social media team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Tik Tok features, effects, video styles, trends, and algorithms to produce innovative content 
  • Build and engage an audience by posting high-quality content and interacting with followers.
  • Analyze performance metrics, comments, and other feedback to gain valuable insights and optimize content and engagement strategies 
  • Represent our organization positively and authentically consistent with our mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Age – 14
  • Expertise with short-form video creation, editing, production, and storytelling techniques
  • Creativity to develop unique, memorable, and trendy content ideas that will spark interest and excitement
  • In-depth knowledge of TikTok video effects, filters, features, and other capabilities
  • Familiarity with audience engagement, growth, and community management strategies for social media
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to collaborate with other organizations and partners. 
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset to regularly track key metrics, understand audience feedback, and adjust content and strategies to optimize performance
  • Passion for TikTok and short-form video content creation
  • Comfortable navigating virtual technology and proficient in doing so.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.

Training

Orientation and training will be in facilitation by the social media team. All communication will be remotely through virtual technology, so no travel is expected.
