Goal

Partners Community Health (PCH) is a not-for-profit, charitable organization focused on bringing healthcare services together around the needs of people living in Mississauga and West Toronto. PCH manages Wellbrook Place, two state-of-the-art Long Term Care homes (Wellbrook Place East and Wellbrook Place West) and Seniors’ Hub at 2180 Speakman Drive in Mississauga. The homes have a combined 632 beds and are a part of PCH’s larger strategy that introduces innovative and inclusive programs and services and new models of care delivery.

Purpose:

Listening to music can elevate your mood. When people listen to music being performed, their blood pressure decreases, relieving feelings of anxiety and depression and promoting feelings of happiness. Our Main Street Music program is a pathway for musicians to share their talent and love of music with our residents in a variety of settings including our café, lobby and courtyards.

Main Street Music performers plan, organize and perform music for Wellbrook Place residents. This is strictly a volunteer role. No stipend or gratuities will be provided. The selling of promotional materials is strictly prohibited.
