	Goal Elder Help Peel is a Canadian nonprofit organization founded in 1998. For over 25 years, with its enthusiastic and community-based volunteers, Elder Help Peel (EHP) has provided older adults and seniors age 55+ residing in Peel Region, with caring and compassionate social programs, services, and events. EHP is committed to diversity and inclusion with its focus on interactive social programs and healthcare services which enable seniors to stay socially connected, active, healthy, and engaged in the community. Join our Board of Directors Elder Help Peel is seeking an experienced digital marketer to join our volunteer Board of Directors. The Marketing & Communications Director will work closely with the board, staff and volunteer team to plan, implement and oversee communication, marketing and promotion, and ensure consistency in messaging across all media (newsletters, website, social media) that meet the strategic objectives of the organization. The successful candidate is one who takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and a passion for marketing and communication.
	Description Director Responsibilities: Write content and deploy marketing communications through email, social media and on the website Write articles for the monthly newsletter Assist with the planning, development, and coordination of a wide range of marketing communications Work diligently to help the organization generate increased revenue through our marketing initiatives Attend all monthly Board meetings and participate independently and knowledgeably in all deliberations of the Board Alignment with our vision, mission and values is crucial Assist with additional projects, tasks, and duties as required Qualifications: An educational background and / or commensurate experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; or equivalent experience, preferably within a nonprofit or healthcare environment Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing and communication strategies Strong storytelling abilities, with a focus on creating engaging narratives that highlight the organizations initiatives and successes An enthusiasm for generating ideas and solutions Strong organization and communication skills with keen attention to detail Fluent in English Language required, plus other languages, an asset Excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Copywriting, creative and graphic design experience an asset
