GoalThe community needs of the Town of Caledon have been the focus of Caledon Community Services (CCS) since 1971. Our Vision: A Healthy, Engaged Compassionate Community for all. Our Mission: To help people help themselves by working creatively and responding to community needs. CCS is a non-profit organization that provides health care and community services to the residents of Caledon. CCS supports assisted living for seniors, newcomer services, youth and employment services, specialized transportation services, food support, and referrals to community resources. |

DescriptionCCS needs volunteers, for a variety of roles to support the smooth execution of our annual signature fundraising gala on Friday November 28, 2025, between the hours of 3pm to 1am. This is a fun opportunity to volunteer in one or more important roles during our annual, semi-formal fundraising gala, “Home for the Holidays ”, located at the glamorous Royal Ambassador Banquet Hall in Caledon, ON. (There is no public transit in this rural location, so a driver’s license and use of a vehicle is required. There is free, accessible parking at the banquet hall.) Roles that you can fill include:

BenefitsOpportunity to use and develop customer service, people, and sales skills to support the smooth and professional execution of CCS’s largest fundraising event of the year. Funds raised during this evening will support the delivery of vital community services. Meet new people in a festive setting, enjoy a nice meal and refreshments on us, and a special token of our thanks. |

QualificationsMust be 19 years of age as this is a licensed event where alcohol will be served. Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle as the event venue is in a rural location where public transportation is not available. Dress Code: Business casual, slightly dressier for the MC Assistants as they will be in front of an audience and should match the festive tone of the evening. Volunteers doing set-up and/or take-down can dress casual. Max Age: 65 Police Check: Not required Resume:Not required Driver's Licence: Required Proof of Vaccination: Not required |

TrainingA virtual orientation will be held on November 18, 2025 in the early evening. The meeting link will be sent to volunteers who have signed-up for the event. On-site briefing/ training at 3 pm on event day, Friday November 28, 2025. |
