 Our 5th annual Mississauga Festival of Trees will run December 5th  - 15th  and we could not be more excited!  Showcasing twinkling displays of seasonal lights, contemporary art installations created by artists from across the country, artisan and culinary markets, entertainment and public workshops, live entertainment, and tasty eats, Mississauga's Small Arms Inspection Building located at 1352 Lakeshore Rd E, Mississauga, Ontario will once again be transformed into a winter wonderland of art, food, and fun this holiday season!   https://www.creativehub1352.ca/festival-of-trees

 


Description

All taking place at Small Arms Inspection Building, volunteers are needed in order to make it a success!  From set up to tear down, and everything in between. Setup for this event begins on Monday, December 1, 2025. All volunteer jobs – Decorating & set up, Greeting, Hospitality (including Smart Serve positions), Market Attendants, & Craft Table Attendants.

Roles include not limited to :

  • Market Attendant,
  • Greeter, Craft Table Attendant,
  • Load In and Load out Attendant to assist the vendors,
  • Decorations to be set up

 

 

 


Benefits

Lanyards provided to identify you as a Volunteer.

$ 10 vouchers provided for shifts longer than 4 hours for this event only.

Volunteer Captain or on - site staff can sign any for volunteer hours at the end of shift.


Qualifications

Smart Serve Certificates, Food Handling Certificate accepted.

Max Age: 90   
Police Check: Not required   
Resume:Not required   
Driver's Licence: Not required   
Proof of Vaccination: Not required


Time Commitment
This is a Special Event commitment starting 2025-12-01 AND ending 2025-12-15
Shifts are available Anytime

Must have reliable transportation to the Small Arms Inspection Building


Training

There is a vitural orientation that has been recorded and all links will be provided once application is approved by the Director of Volunteer Development.
