INDUS Community Services (formerly known as 'India Rainbow Club of Peel') was founded in 1985 by concerned members of the Indo-Canadian community to meet the settlement and social service needs of newcomers from the Indian sub-continent. With our increasingly expanded mission, we provide educational, social, settlement, health and employment related services to help all new immigrants in the Peel region.

Volunteers will engage and interact with clients within the 'Adult Day Program' via program planning and implementation on a one-on-one basis or in a group setting.

Volunteers in the day program are a core part of the Indus team, and benefit from the personable experience offered by interacting with adults or older adults with varying abilities. Volunteers also benefit from educational and informational sessions, as well as expand on their communication and interpersonal skills.
